Tell us what happened

Tell us what you were trying to do and what went wrong. Include your browser or device and, if you know it, your laklak version. Only share a page address if it contains no private information. Screenshots can help, but hide sensitive details before sending them.

Never send your sign-in key or session cookies.

Opening comments

To read comments on a webpage, open the page and click the laklak toolbar icon. In Safari, choose laklak from the Extensions menu. Extensions cannot run on some browser pages.

If no comments appear, the page may not have any yet. Earlier comments may also have been deleted or hidden.

Automatic features and permissions

In Chrome and Firefox, you can choose whether an open laklak panel follows the page you’re viewing and whether the toolbar icon shows its comment count. Both are optional and available in laklak’s settings. You can still open laklak manually without giving it access to all sites.

Help with your account

We can’t recover a lost sign-in key. The Security page explains how to keep it safe.

To delete your account, sign in at laklak.io and open Settings. Deleting your account won’t delete your comments. Delete any comments you don’t want to keep before deleting your account.

Reporting a comment

Choose Report from the comment’s menu. If you can’t report it there, email support@laklak.io with the page address, the comment and why you’re reporting it.

You can also use this address to ask us to review a moderation decision.
